Christmas and New Years Day Walking

Hi Everyone,

Over the holidays we had unbelievable weather!  It got into the low to mid 50's and with some extra time off I decided to take a walk in the neighborhood.  The first walk was on Christmas Eve I believe.  I like to go on the top of the hill near our house.  It's near the woods, no houses around and it feels like a mini vacation from the subdivision.

This is a shot from the top of the hill.  It was a beautiful day.

I did take a walk around the circle of our neighborhood before heading up here.  It was nice.  A little windy but warm enough.  I always carry a water bottle with me.  Gotta stay hydrated!

I love that there is signs of wildlife where we live.  This is just one of many deer prints I saw that day.

This is from my walk on New Years Day-  It was just as warm and less windy than my last walk.  I love taking these walks alone.  I'm finding it really helps my confidence to go on outings alone.  I found a trail to walk from where someone had ridden their 4 wheeler.  It was fun to explore new land with ease of a path.

Another beautiful with bright blue skies!

I just loved the scenery even if it was just how the sunlight shown through the trees.

I was interested in the details of the scenery on this trip. It was great to slow down and just enjoy the miracles.  Tiny little seedlings growing into large trees-- the circle of life continues.

After one last shot of this plant that looked like cotton fuzz I headed back home.  I felt tired and rejuvenated all at the same time when I stepped in the door.  Looking forward to more adventures.

Until Next Time.
